The method
How it works
Four phases, and they keep going round. We guide you from the knowledge you already have to your first course that sells, and then to the next one. You bring the expertise. We bring the method, the same one we have used hundreds of times with consultants, experts and training companies.
The path
Every course starts from an original – the deck, the workshop, the advice you repeat to every client. We turn it into knowledge that earns money and brings in leads, packaged the way people actually learn now. The industry calls it microlearning; we call it knowledge snacking.

Strategy
This is where we build the plan for your education business. Before anything gets built, we go through what material already exists, who it is for and what you charge for it today, often literally scrolling through your slide decks together.
Out of that comes a business plan that covers production on one side and sales and marketing on the other. It names your first three courses (there is almost always a second and a third), and we start with the one with the most material behind it and the clearest demand. It also sets the packaging, the price range, the launch and the milestones for getting there — written now, before the course is finished, so that selling is a plan and not a hope. You leave the first session already started.
Production
This is where your knowledge becomes a course people want to take. We shape what you have into a course, whether that is slides, documents or just the structure in your head. The result is four to five chapters of short, mixed segments of text, image, video and exercises, built to be taken on a phone in the gaps of a working week. Not seventy hours of video.
Think of us as your publisher: the story is yours, we know how a chapter should be built. What sells the course is built alongside it, all in the platform and all included: a trailer, the copy and a landing page. Seventy thousand priced courses in our database show the realistic price range from day one; the final price is set together once about half the content exists. Small self-paced courses start at a few thousand SEK, packaged programmes reach six figures.
Distribution
Or, to put it simply: selling. Everything lives in your own store, in your brand colours, with payments through Klarna and Stripe. Everything included, nothing to integrate. And the store is one of several ways in. Invite individuals or groups directly, connect through the API, or reach beyond your own audience through Coursio Network partners.
The store opens on day one; the launch plan from phase one is what fills it. Inventory your network, rank the prospects, then sell first to the people who already know you. You can even open sales while production is still running.
Once someone buys, nothing new lands on your desk. We host and deliver every course, and payouts arrive monthly, the month after the sale.
Analytics
We look at what actually happened. The platform tracks what a spreadsheet never will: who bought, who finished, where they dropped off. We read the numbers together at one, three and six months and tell you what to change along the way.
Then we go back to strategy. Maybe we adjust the price, sharpen the trailer or start the next course. Supply drives demand in this market: the more you have on the shelf, the more you sell. That is why the plan lists three courses from day one, and why the four phases keep going round.
Who does what
| Phase | You | Coursio |
|---|---|---|
| Strategy | Bring your material and decide the ambition level | Run the needs analysis and the start meeting; write the business plan, the shortlist and the launch plan with you |
| Production | Record the content | Structure, coach and project-lead the production; edit the footage if you book a production day; build the trailer and the copy with you; price from data |
| Distribution | Work your own network | Store and payments ready from day one; host and deliver every course; pay out monthly; connect you with Network partners if you want additional distribution |
| Analytics | Join the follow-ups and decide what to build next | Read the numbers with you; recommend the next move, whether price, trailer or a new course |
Pricing and packaging are always decided together.
What it takes from you
A couple of days of focused work from your subject expert, spread over about a month – a working session at the start, the production itself and a launch.
Time to go live: your first course goes live within a month. That’s the pace we plan against – and if you clear two focused days in one go, a course can be sellable inside a week.
What it costs
Included
Our agreements run 12 to 24 months and includes: the platform, your store, payments, production coaching and the follow-up at one, three and six months.
Running
A monthly licence of 5,000 SEK plus 15 % of sales – payment fees, up to five per cent of revenue, are covered inside that share.
Optional
Studio production days (20,000 SEK per half day, filming and editing included – enough to record material for three courses) and Coursio Network distribution, where the partner channel takes an agreed extra share.
Break-even
Count it in courses sold. Licence and your own time included, break-even at a typical price point lands at 15-20 sold courses. Put differently, if 15-20 people in your network want this, the maths works.
FAQ
The honest questions, answered.
I don't have a course yet – where do I start?
Everyone has courses in them. What we need isn't a finished course but an original – slide decks, workshop material, or the advice you repeat to every client. One customer arrived with nothing but the presentation she advised clients from, and she had never run a course. We help you package what you have into your first one, two or three courses.
What equipment do I need?
Probably nothing you don't already own – at most a microphone and better light, and we help you choose. Or book our studio, editing included.
I'm terrible on camera – can I still do this?
Video is a small part of the format. You record short segments of one to three minutes with prompts and cue words – closer to explaining something to a colleague than giving a TED talk. Only the trailer needs real energy, and we can build filmed visuals around your voice.
Who owns the material?
You do. All of it. The material you create and upload is one hundred per cent yours – Coursio has no ownership at all.
What happens to my existing clients?
Nothing. A course is a different delivery and sits next to the work they already buy. If anything it runs the other way – a course is a door-opener to new clients.
